This Privacy Policy explains how CollectDebt.ai (operated by CollectDebt, Inc. or the applicable CollectDebt entity identified in your order form or contract) (“CollectDebt,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you access or use our website at https://collectdebt.ai/ and our products, APIs, dashboards, and related services (collectively, the “Platform” or “Services”).
Use of the Platform and sharing of information by visitors and customers is conditioned upon your acceptance of this Privacy Policy. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to the collection, use, transfer, and disclosure of information as described here. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform or Services.
Definitions
In this Privacy Policy, “Visitor” means any person who browses the Platform or submits an inquiry through the Platform. “Customer” or “User” means an individual or entity that enters into a written agreement, order form, or other binding contract with CollectDebt to use the Services. “Agreement” means the documents that govern the Customer’s use of the Services, including an order form, master services agreement, subscription terms, data processing addendum, business associate agreement (if applicable), or other written terms executed between CollectDebt and the Customer. “Services” means the products and services provided by CollectDebt as described in the Agreement. “Information” means Personal Data, Sensitive Data, Technical Information, Location Information, and Non-Personal Information as described below.
Scope and Applicability
CollectDebt is committed to respecting privacy and maintaining appropriate safeguards for information collected through the Platform. This Privacy Policy describes our practices for collection, usage, processing, disclosure, retention, and protection of information obtained through the Platform and Services, including information provided by Visitors and information processed on behalf of Customers while delivering the Services.
This Privacy Policy applies only to CollectDebt’s Platform and Services that link to this Privacy Policy. It does not apply to third-party websites, services, or platforms that may be linked or integrated with the Services, which are governed by their own policies.
Your Consent and Lawful Basis for Processing
By providing Information to CollectDebt, or by authorizing a representative to provide Information on your behalf, you consent to CollectDebt collecting, using, and disclosing Information as described in this Privacy Policy and as permitted by applicable law. Where required, CollectDebt will process Information based on consent, contractual necessity, legitimate interests, or other lawful bases permitted under applicable data protection laws.
If you do not want CollectDebt to process certain Information, you may choose not to provide it or you may withdraw consent where applicable. In such cases, access to certain features may be limited or we may be unable to provide the Services.
Information We Collect
CollectDebt may collect Personal Data, which includes information that identifies or relates to an identifiable natural person, such as name, email address, phone number, employer, job title, contact details, or other identifying information provided by a Visitor or processed in connection with the Services. CollectDebt may also process information that could be considered sensitive depending on context, including certain financial account-related details, account status information, payment arrangements, dispute indicators, communications content, and other information uploaded or transmitted through the Services.
CollectDebt collects Technical Information automatically when you access the Platform, including IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, referring or exit pages, clickstream data, timestamps, log data, and performance diagnostics. CollectDebt may derive approximate Location Information such as city, region, or general location from IP address or device settings when available. CollectDebt may also collect Non-Personal Information that does not directly identify you, including aggregated usage data, analytics data, crash reports, and system activity data.
When Customers use the Services, CollectDebt may process “Service Data,” including call recordings, call transcripts, summaries, workflow outputs, disposition notes, conversation metadata, audit logs, opt-out signals, and integration payloads, to provide the Services and support compliance and quality assurance.
How We Use Information
CollectDebt uses Information to operate, maintain, and improve the Platform and Services, to provide and support AI-driven debt collection workflows, to configure and run automations, to generate call transcriptions and summaries, to provide analytics and reporting, and to deliver customer support and account administration.
CollectDebt also uses Information to secure the Platform, detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized activity, diagnose technical issues, perform system monitoring, and comply with legal obligations. CollectDebt may use aggregated or anonymized information for research, benchmarking, performance analysis, and product development, and such information is not intended to identify any individual.
AI Processing and Automated Decisioning
CollectDebt uses artificial intelligence to enable features such as natural language understanding, conversation summarization, call coaching insights, classification, and workflow automation. AI processing may involve third-party infrastructure and model providers operating under contractual restrictions designed to protect confidentiality and limit use.
AI outputs may be incorrect, incomplete, or inappropriate for a specific situation. Customers are responsible for implementing human review and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and policies, including FDCPA, Reg F, TCPA, and state-specific debt collection requirements, where applicable.
How We Share Information
CollectDebt does not sell Personal Data. We may share Information with service providers and vendors that help us operate the Platform and deliver the Services, including cloud hosting providers, telecommunications providers, analytics and monitoring vendors, customer support tools, security providers, and payment processors, where applicable. These providers may access Information only to perform services for us and are required to protect it consistent with contractual obligations.
We may disclose Information when required by law, legal process, or government request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, safety, and security of CollectDebt, our customers, users, or others, to enforce agreements, or to prevent fraud or misuse. We may share Information in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, or sale of assets, in which case information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We may share Information with affiliates under common control where necessary to operate the Services, and we may share Information with other parties at your direction or with your consent.
CollectDebt does not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes, and we do not share text messaging originator opt-in data or consent with third parties except as required to deliver messaging services on your behalf or as required by law.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
CollectDebt uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the Platform, remember preferences, maintain sessions, analyze traffic, improve performance, and measure marketing effectiveness. You may control cookie settings through your browser or any cookie preference tools we provide. Disabling cookies may affect Platform functionality.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on the Platform with an updated “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Platform after an update indicates acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
